Ductile Failure (Impact)
Material failure mode that is characterized by a definite yielding of material along with cracking. Signiifed by the Tup (dart) leaving a hole or rupture through teh full thickness of the specimen rather than crackin goutwardly form teh point of failure. The area under the Tup (dart) is elongated and thinned at the point of failure.
